A guy that I've been on a date with before keeps making the excuse of "I have no money", is he just trying to use me for sex?

The first time we saw eachother I went down to London to see him as he was working there. He told me he was staying in a hotel, that I could keep him company one night and not to worry about the £100 a night he paid for it.

When we arrived it was a bedroom in someone's apartment and when a friend called I heard them say to him "it's not bad for £50 a night".

He's asking to see me again but he wants to come round to mine to "cook food" as he has no money to take me out. He's asked me twice in 6 months to come round.

He has a job by the way, he's a a corporal in the army.

Maybe he doesn't have extra cash. Is he paying off debts? supporting family members? saving his $ for priorities?
Have you considered his point of view?
Have you offered to pay your way (go dutch) on your meetings?
Your statement didn't mention ANYTHING about how you feel about him - just carped about his $.
If money is the object and he doesn't have any to spare, maybe you need to look for someone with a bigger wallet.

Typically military don't get paid a lot, I'm not making excuses for him. It's probably a combination of the two, yeah he's probably broke and yes he wants to fuck you

I've got a simple answer for you, tell him that when he can take you on a proper date, out to dinner and a movie or whatever. When he can afford to do that you'll go out. Oh and I'm not fucking until we do that
