My boyfriend broke up with me because he thinks I’m cheating but I’m not?

I started dating this guy when I was 16 he was 19. Immediately he made me stop talking to friends, not go out & changed the way I dressed. Three years later I am now 19 & I have put up with everything because I truly love & care for him.

I have an instagram that has 10 followers (all female) & I only follow famous women. He logged in & saw I had blocked a guy from school he called me & said I had been texting with him this is why I had to block him. Which wasn’t the case at all he didn’t let me have any male followers so when this guy requested to follow me I blocked him.
He also saw I uploaded a picture of me in spandex, he called me a whore & body shamed me to the point where I cannot look at myself in the mirror.

Is this enough reason to believe I am cheating on him? I do not want to get back together with him at all I just want an opinion.

He is insecure and immature if you ask me. To require you to stop talking to people is ridiculous. There is also nothing in your details that would make a normal person believe you were cheating on them.

That is the insecurity I speak of. I doubt there wasn't a day that went by that he didn't have unwarranted suspicions about that. People that insecure rarely ever change either. You were right to break up with him.

The part that is really frustrating is his controlling type behaviour. To limit who you can speak to is just wrong. Now, to the really big red flag. To upload a photo of you without your consent and then call you a whore is a total deal breaker.

That is instant breakup if someone did it to me. Good on you realizing this is not a good partner and moving on. You will be much happier now and he will go through life always needlessly worrying.

Well if what you say is true... he is likely up to so much crap behind your back for him to act this way while not even seeing anything suspicious from you to suggest infidelity.

he sounds very controling telling you who you can see, what you can wear, just running your life.
He is also very insecure or he would not be doing those things to you.
You can never win in situations with a person like that, you say thank you to the mailman, ups guy, the amazon driver and in his mind you are or have been sleeping with them, even though you haven't.
While you may have feelings for him, over time the constant accusations of cheating etc. will have worn you down and will have had enough.
As time goes by and you will start to realize how he was treating you, and hopefully the next person you meet will treat you how you deserve to be treated.
No on deserves to be treated that way.
Good luck, he actually did you a favor, which in time you will realize that because you are now out from under his control.

Research dark manipulation and narcissism, youtube is a great resource. Its best to educate about what going on rather than just listen to opinion on what to do. But as it appears he is not capable of having a healthy relationship, there is no reason he should have access to your instagram.
