Girls, Why do girls always ask me where I work?

I work in entry level tech so it does pay more then average low paying jobs. Which means I can live a comfortable life without worrying about bills. But when girls think of a guy that works in tech what do they think of the guy first?

if i ask about guy's work it could be simple conversation, also seeing is he doing something with his life or is a loser that doesn't do anything, how ambitious he is etc.

a lot of women ask cause they want to be provded so they want to see can he do that, but not all women are like that

some may have some prejudice about tech, some may not, but it would be definitely assesed by your overall characteristics
