Why do so many guys I know say that all women are toxic?

Had a discussion with my friend about women and he told me that 99% of them want attention from guys, that they look down on guys who never had any relationships with girls, and that all of them seem to have 100s of options.

i told him that not all girls have options, but that it rather depends on your looks. There are good looking guys that also have a lot of options, just like good looking girls.

For a long time men ruled the world quite exclusively. Now that women have more rights than we once did and are upset as some are being revoked, that baseline superiority of men has been diminished and our being upset about being beaten back looks unjust to them because they don't necessarily think we should be where we are anyway.

I know this isn't at the forefront of most men's minds, in fact a good many men it's not in their minds at all, but it's enough to be noticable. And before I get pushback on women's rights I'm talking about the right to vote, the right to an equal wage in the workplace, the right to bodily autonomy (if I want my tubes tied in my state I have to either have had 3 children or have my husband sign off on it)... It wasn't long ago that marriage was a business transaction, and we were simply property. It wasn't long ago that a woman could not refuse the sexual advances of her husband, well, she could but he could force himself upon her without any repercussions.

Even today, even with marital rape laws on the books, it's RARELY prosecuted... Even run of the mill cases are rarely prosecuted, and with Roe overturned, if he impregnates us in the process, we could be stuck with our rapist in our lives for 18 years..

So no, we are not equal to men yet, but we have come a LONG way, and some men resent that, even if they haven't thought it all out. It usually sounds like "a woman's place is at home" or "the man should be the breadwinner" which are indicative to a basic inequality in their ideal world, and can lead to other thoughts like those of entitlement. Then feeling some sort of grievance has been done because they haven't been given what they feel they deserve... Which leads to resentment.

Like I said, most men who feel this kind of way don't even cognitively examine each step. Most men, most people are good people.

To be honest, sounds like you have some toxic friends.

Just from my observations, it really seems like these guys that think this are the guys that feel like they are entitled to a woman and just because they aren't outright dicks to them, the women should be all over them. Well, there's more to it than just being nice. That's the bare minimum you have to do honestly.

And when they don't have anything passed that minimum, they drop the facade off being nice and blame it on women

Not every situation is the same. There's experiences I've had where some literally told me the felt like I was their soul mate and then rejected me. This person also knew I had feelings for them. You're right being nice does not mean someone is owed sex or a relationship. However, plenty of women lead men on because they can and there are no societal repercussions for treating men poorly

Maybe the women they have specifically been involved with are toxic. We do not know. But from what little info you've given us your friends may be toxic as well if they generalize the opposite sex.
It goes for both genders. Some toxic women and some toxic men. If it's the same guys saying the opposite sex is toxic they may need to look in the mirror and self reflect.
Tell them to make better decision making and judgment calls when dating.
Ask yourself this. What if you had a daughter and they made those accusations toward her.
Regardless if it were to be true or not you wouldn't like it. So they need to treat every relationship on a case by case basis. Because they will carry that into their next relationship. That applies to both men and women.

Not all women are toxic there’s some that are a bit crazy like all women are but they still mean well as a person. I do think a lot of women are becoming more toxic tho that’s for sure. It’s this weird breed of feminism that’s teaching girls to mimic the bad behavior of men. Plus they are waaaay more capable of being shitheads now a days with all the apps and stuff that’s for sure. Maybe because there's some truth in what we're saying? Now saying "all women is toxic" is not true. Saying "the majority of young single Western women are horrible and undateable nowadays" however, is more true. And by "majority," I mean a small majority, like 55-60%.

One thing you're wrong about, though. ALL GIRLS HAVE OPTIONS. 100% of the time. They just also have high standards, so a guy who's only a 6 out of 10 overall, isn't "good enough" for them.

All or most? Most women are toxic. Most do just want attention from guys. And yes women are notoriously judgmental. As far as them having 100's of options, that's misleading. Yes women get flirted with on a daily basis. But some enjoy it and some hold contentment for it. Not every compliment (flirt) is genuine.

Basically the problem with most women today is they've never been raised to act like women. Most have had trashy role model and feminism has fed them a steady diet of misinformation.

Tell your friend regardless to remember he's a MAN first and always. A man is never controlled by a woman's antics. These are the same guys who accuse women of dating badboys on purpose when some women have bad experience with some men but for some reason these guys date bad women Not on purpose of course when they have bad experience with women but joking aside if someone has often many toxic patners, i would think that this person is naive and can easily be manipulated OR this person really like something about these bad/toxic people.
Other than that it is not unusual to have one or few toxic partners in life but then you learn your lesson and you have the knowledge to easily detect bad people due to your experience. By the way your friends may have toxic surroundings with toxic people (?). I dont know.

If a person you were interested in was constantly venting to you and bonding to you and you were rejected you'd be crushed. To say that men view woman as sluts is an oversimplified blanket statement cursing men. If I were to day all women are sluts it would be just a ridiculous.
