Guys, is it a deal breaker to marry a woman who is not financially independent and doesn't have a professional degree?

No not necessarily. Men typically don’t look at a woman’s financial status. Most of us men are raised to take care of the women, our family. I’ve dated some w go worked at McDonalds, just didn’t work out cause they were unhinged. Women tend to look more at that from a couple different view points. One as a potential hood digger. Two as a way to see if he can take care of a family financially should they decide to start one. Especially if they decide that she will stay home w the kids for the first few years.

No as that is silly. Many men value a woman for her abilities to multi-task and manage. The first being the Household which in my case would be dealing with the direct deposit, our retirement investments, bills, her fun monies, our fun monies (vacations, etc...) I know this is a bit prehistoric but "the mule" working does not have time for all those things as any of my spare time goes into Wifey and children." A Proverbs Wife if you want definition. Search it !!

More often than not, she must be financially independent or have/working for a higher level of education. I'm not dating someone who is in their twenties and doing nothing with their life other than mooching off others. There are probably a few exceptions, such as medical issues she is working through, but not many.
