Is it a bad idea to go to a guys house for a second date?

I went out with this guy we met up and went to a restaurant. He asked when he could see me again. I said next week and he said that sounded good. And then I asked him where? He said he had no idea and did I have anything in mind. I told him that I would like to relax with him because he's so calming. And he said well my place then? I said yes if you don't mind. And he said no not at all and that we could watch a scary movie. I told him that I knew he just wanted to cuddle. Because when we were out he said he didn't like watching scary movies alone and that he needed someone to cuddle with if he watched scary movies.

Anyway is it a bad idea for me to go to his place? He told me that he liked feeling a connection before having sex. And that sex isn't really an issue for him because he hasn't had it in so long.

It's simple go if you feel comfortable with it. And if you don't just say it's a bit soon how about another date out first.
If he has a problem with you saying that then that will be a red flag and a sign to leave him alone. Because any rational person would understand a fair request.
And if you do go to his place be the sound of it he does just wanna cuddle.
But also I am guy who very much loves cuddles and would take them over sex any day so that maybe just my view there.

It could go either way. I mean if you have sex w him because you want to than that’s good. But if you do it because you’re afraid he won’t talk to you again than no. You pretty much control that department. I don’t think going over to hang out, eat some food and watch a movie is a bad idea. Just depends on what happens during or after that movie.

You've met him. Presumably you know the basics -- his name, what he's doing with his life... Tell someone where you are going and have a nice time. I expect it will be fine. If you feel uncomfortable then excuse yourself and leave.
