Why people feel so personally offended by rejection?

I think it's more the mixed signals. Women have a way of flirting with EVERYONE but thier actions don't discern between the guys they're doing it for sport with and the guys they have legitimate interest with. This leads to a lot of guys feeling led on.

I always tell guys she didn't reject you. She rejected her perception of you. Because odds are she never really knew you. So don't take it personal.

My only real problem I have with women is the have attention spans of goldfish. They like shiny things they're easily distracted. And like feeding fish they interested as long as you have a handful of compliments to feed them. When the feeding is over they swim away looking for another food source. 🤣

Because it's something that feels like a default outcome. I personally don't ask anyone out, but if I did I'd be annoyed if I got told no 90% of the time and there was nothing I could so about it.

because intial parts of dating, asking out etc, are based upon a person's looks for the most part and being rejected comes down to "you are too ugly to date/talk to" in about 88 to 93% of humans. mostly on a semisubconcious level.

The person spends time psyching themselves up to ask the other person out, so it's a big let down to find out that the other person doesn't feel the same way.
