If you're currently single, what is the reason you are?

Too many reasons. But based on the way I feel about how my life is going, I think being single is the best option. At least for now. Hope it will stay this way forever. I only feel bad for my parents and grandparents. I sometimes feel like I failed them since they are still waiting for me to get my first girlfriend. And I'm like "Not happening".

Would you feel that you failed as a parent if your kids were in their 30's, never dated and don't plan to?

Sometimes I think life doesn't want me to get married again. My heart is willing, but the obstacles just keep piling up. I fall in love for real and I get hurt too much. It's kind of like a higher power is protecting me from the one thing that I always want, women, lol.

I'm single because I believe dating is far more dangerous for me than it's worth. And the prospect of wasting my time on something with more drawbacks than advantages does not appeal to me.

The juice generally isn't worth the squeeze. I'll date a woman who's relationship material. But by this age if they are they're married obviously. Good women don't stay single!
