Well actually that not just the main reason, well it the main reason too but i have another reason.. when I was teenager I don't really into relationship like go on a date w a guy or something.. i was thinking its cringe lol well thats because it issss. Watched cringe couples being cheesy made me wanna throw up ngl. I hate that. But dont get me wrong, i even dont give my numbers to guys, and when unknow numbers texted me i was like who tf is this how they found my number, and turned out i know them and want to get to know each other.. i declined guys that had a crush on me cuz im sick of this cringey shit lol so i spent mostly my age single, but it changed when i was in college lol i started to like someone but he's hard to reach (read the first paragraph).. so yeaaaaah maybe my type is them n i cannot find my type here
Even tho actually i have a crush on someone, this guys also had a crush on me too, since i was high school til now he still messages me once he asked me to be his girlfriend i said nah lol tf is wong w meee

A lot of it is because of me. When I was really young, I thought being single was the worst thing ever. Therefore I got serious about anyone who paid attention to me, and I ended up getting hurt multiple times. Now I’m older, I’m not interested in getting into a relationship unless I a.) feel a connection with them or b.) see a future with them.

One could argue I’ve gotten a little bit pickier as I got older, and I have in a sense that simply talking to me is not going to win me over. My only requirements are: Christian (but not a very strict Christian), down to earth, good moral character and (most importantly) that we have good chemistry together, and the interest has to be mutual. I’ve had men show interest in me that wasn’t mutual and yes I probably could have agreed to date them however, I chose to be nice and not waste their time. If the interest isn’t mutual, I’m good staying single.

when I was single 10 years ago, my ex husband left the marriage… I stayed single for 2-3 years. before going back to dating. I am now married to my second husband.
the time I was single, I learned about who I am, what I want. How to better myself to be a good partner.

Of course I know why I'm single. I've never been married and it is not likely that I will for at least several years. This is not the late 1500s when Shakespeare's Juliet was 2 weeks shy of age 14 and when her parent arraigned for her to be married. At the time some girls married at my age. But society has changed, now it may not even be legal for me to marry.

In any event, I know why I’m single. It started in college. Another student and I invited these two girls to the Sugar Bowl. We paid for the trip, the tickets, theirs and our rooms, and the New Year’s eve out on Bourbon Street. Later we discovered there were two fraternity guys in their room but they didn’t invite us. We didn’t like it, but what could we do? We took them to game and took them home. We didn’t ask them again.

Then when I first graduated college, I went out with a very pretty girl, 18 or 19, from the poor part of town. I was very taken by her and would have married her if she had given me a chance. She had me take her to this country bar. It was not my kind of crowd but obviously her kind. As soon as we got there she had me wait at the bar while she visited someone. She returned in a few minutes and said some guy (maybe a hot plumber’s helper) would take her home. I didn’t like that either; but, again, what could I do?

I met her 3 or 4 year later. She and her 2 babies were living in a cheap one bedroom apartment in the low income part of town. This time, she made it very clear that I was acceptable but just gave her my older TV set and didn’t see her again.

Since then, there are variations of that; but also, with the current laws and family courts, I don’t see marriage as such a good deal from men.
