Men are bigger than women, and we're also heavier. That means that every step we take means moving more weight, and burning more calories. Even if we live equally sedentary lives, we go through a LOT more than you, and since we usually DO live more physical lives, we have kind of a different relationship with food. The whole "get back in the kitchen and make me a sandwich" thing media is so fond of IS horribly dismissive, but pretty much every guy out there will think more highly of you if you bring him food, and it's a foolish person who ignores easy opportunities to make their partner feel loved and appreciated. Obviously that's not the only one, but it's one of the most universal (for guys, anyway).

It's not really a sexual thing, so I don't know that calling it a turn-on is correct, but it makes you look more like relationship material.
