@Headstrongcrazylover she's most probably not doing her PhD to prove that she is smarter than others she's doing it to get the right qualifications in order to do her dream job, any person who is studying in order to be smarter than others is a big fat jerk. not everything in life must be a competition.

In stuff like science, nursing, doctor, gynaecology, etc.
Scientific knowledge in general is always a plus, some of it even is required to date me, or at an least interest in it is.
However I won't date a nurse, doctor or other medical staff, not because of a phd, but because they are exposed to infections daily, especially a gynecologist, who has their hands in more vaginas than a lesbian hooker.
A phd in physics or astronomy or computer engineering or any other non infectious/non hazardous job is a huge plus.
The level of disrespect you have for health care workers is appalling honestly.
There is a difference between disrespect and caution, anyone with a phd should be smart enough to understand that. i'm not willing to risk my health to the level that health care workers do, its fine that they want to, but it's not for me.
They know the risks and chose that profession anyway, key word being "chose"
Never go to the hospital and never seek any assistance from any health care worker.
