I actually was in such a situation, doesn't end well usually, too much drama that isn't worth the trouble especially with crazy exes, in my situation I was in another country then I came back and found out my friend (the girl I liked and felt she liked me back) had a boyfriend now, I saw her next day she texted me saying she missed me so much and wants us to be like before (close) and I was like bruhh even if I wanted to you got a boyfriend, then she started asking me to hangout with her and her friend or friends, which kinda weirded me out because her boyfriend never showed up, 1 week later they broke up and yours truly got his shot, he swished it then crazy ex boyfriend bs and drama (stuff like her asking me to tell her ex that we didn't kiss or hangout alone before they broke up) got him out of it
