Is money / stability the biggest thing a guy should have? If so why? If not what is?

Money is not what it is important. Being stable certainly is but both parties can contribute to financial stability, not just the guy. I have a career of my own and contribute to the finances with my fiancé.

What is more important is personality and character. That includes so many things but that is what I look for first when deciding to be in a relation or date someone. So long as the guy works hard and isn’t lazy, that is fine. He doesn’t have to be super wealthy. I can help with the finances as well.

Character isn’t something you can buy though and something you either have good or bad. If his personality is compatible with mine, that is number one on my list before anything else.

People place too great of an importance on wealth and think you need a lot of it for a relationship. So long as we are comfortable and both contributing, I that’s what matters to me personally.

No. There has to be a balance. If ALL the guy has is money and stability, that's simply not enough. He has to have a personality, warmth, kindness. A sense of fun. A vision for a good mutual future. He has to support the mate of his choice in HER endeavors.

Everyone needs money to live. But it's not the do-all, end-all.

I would be realistic.

Money and Stability are part of the top of the list of the most important things a person should look for a partner.

Again, before anyone fires judgement, the two belong as a part of the list. Does not necessarily mean they are the 2 most important ones.

I would say attitude and outlook in life takes the top.
