Am I the one causing the issues?

I found out my boyfriend had been cheating and lying about it most of our relationship. After everything has came into the light, we have been arguing left and right. He says the reason why he was seeing another woman was because all i did was complain and i didn't trust him and he was very tired trying to prove himself. He tells me that he isn't going to try to get me back because im going to want him to jump through hoops and walk on glass to prove himself. Sometimes i trusted him since we met because he will kinda do some things and his stories wouldn't add up. Other times I did trust him which is why i was having unprotected sex with him.

Ultimately he was the one that made the choice to cheat, but your insecurities definitely weren't helping the situation. I know that one of my biggest turn-offs is when a woman repeatedly asks me something to the effect of "does your wife know you're on a date right now?"

That's a turn-off for a lot of reasons, not the least of which being that I don't have a wife. That constant questioning and doubting undermines the strength of the relationship very quickly. Regardless of the effect your questions were having; he's the one who chose to cheat, you definitely made the decision easier.

He's gaslighting you. No one is forced to cheat. If he wasn't happy with you, he should have broken up with you if the problems could not have been fixed. Dump his sorry cheating ass.

No he is the only problem. He’s not even worth the time talking to anymore. He cheated and you is trying to blame you. Why are you even acknowledging his existence?
