When a guy says "Yeah we straight?

So we've been talking a couple months he's going through some personal stuff. I told him I was here , if he needed a place to stay etc. He told me he needed to think about about everything first and to give him some time. I asked him if we were good and okay and all he said was yeah we straight. What does that mean? Last time I asked him he said we were good.. now he said that.

But before he said yeah we are good. He got different after I told him hem could stay at my place but that my kids dad might need to feel him out.. then he said he needed to think to hunt him time.. and has been kinda distant since. Then said that..
