I’m not very picky about his appearance. I only care about his hygiene and health. I’m mostly into lanky guys, but his build does not matter as long as he is not overweight. As for hair color? The darker the better, but other hair colors can be quite cool as well.

Ideally, I would want someone who shares similar views in terms of religion (I’m not religious), politics (I’m left leaning) and long term goals. I wouldn’t want him to be a lazy man who has absolutely no passion in his life. I’d like to date a man who has passion and ambitions. It’s not just about looks, personality matters a lot more too.

I don't think this is a "numbers" game.

Maybe he isn't so fantastic looking, but he's a great athlete and has charm and sparkle.

Perhaps he is thoughtful and kind and has a wonderful sense of humor.

I"d say men like Brad Pitt and Idris Alba are 9s. How many people do you know look that good, sound that good, ooze sexy like they do? Some people got it in the LOOKS department but NOT ANYWHER ELSE!!! Does that make them an 8 or 9?

No. It has to be an entire package. Prince was a tiny guy. But he was a dynamo: rock and roller, fab dancer, wrote and performed on 10 instruments, could sing and perform!!! Did anybody care that he was 5'3"... Only the very foolish. And he was rich too. Sheesh.

Bottom line is you usually can't have everything and beauty is temporary and skin deep. Real beauty includes a lot of factors. Lots of pretty folk are ugly to the bone and stupid too because they trade on their looks. hos.

For me, it's much more important that I get along with them and we have a lot of common interests. All I care about is a baseline attraction. As long as I'm attracted to you AT ALL, compatibility makes up for the rest. My current girlfriend is not the usual body type I go for. she's super petite, itty bitty titties and I usually go for curvy full bodied women, but that's not why I'm with her. The more I get to know her the more I love her too.

I've noticed that there are these unique core needs that are very important to each person to have in a relationship. As long as those needs are met, the severity of the rest kind of dwindles in how much they are desired

I'm super picky. I would like a girl that is at least as fit as I am, has minimal piercings/tattoos, around the same height or taller, has hair at least shoulder length, would prefer larger breasts, dyed or dark brunette hair, etc.

I wouldn't say these are "requirements," but girls that don't check 3 or so of these boxes probably won't catch my attention at all

Looks.. I think most women are hot so long as they aren't obese or too chubby..
But there is a non-definable scale for sure.
I'd say she needs to be at least a 4, if I feel desperate.
If not then a 6.
Above that is very doable too though.
If I could land anything more than a conversation I'm sure I could go up to 9s without sweating it too much.
But I've got my issues so.. a 6?

I think the looks aren't as important as the personality of a man. Intelligence and good humor is key for me. But being you asked about looks, I do darker hair color, and average to thin build. Hard to get attracted to heavier men. I don't like tatoos unless it's just one or one in a place that's hard to see.

At least what I think of as a 5 or better in looks if her personality is a 10 for a match/compatibility. A 7 in looks and she can have a 9 in compatibility for personality. A 9 or above in looks and she can have an 8 or better in personality match.

An 8 for personality/compatibility match is as low as I would go for that part.

Pretty much, each point in personality is equal to 2 points in looks for me.

I think personality should be kind and looks should be decent. Nails should be trimmed too. Any style is ok for me as long as it's not too messy looking.

They have to be my friend so I know what they are like. Also they should be polite and be willing to meet your parents if you live near them.
