There’s no set time. People have different needs and wants. I do think if a talking stage lasts more than 6 months with no aim for a relationship , it’s a waste of time. I think your best bet is to go with your desires of what a talking stage should feel like and if a person isn’t giving you what you desire after a certain point, move on.

“Talking” for me lasts 1-3 months. After that, we either become official or we not shit

In my opinion, there is no set time. It may end earlier or may continue for a lifetime. I believe it may depend on the strength of the relationship between two people.
