How long does it take from the talking stage to make things official stage for you?

I'm curious because I'm finally dating the right way. I was going on dates with two guys (NOT at the same time with no commitments or sex). Guy 1 I ended things with because I wasn't feeling it.

Guy 2, I've known him for 4 months and see him almost every day because our jobs are next to each other. We went on two dates in the past month so far and since we know each other it's easy to talk to him. But when do we make things official? How does it work? How does it all work? I'm all confused.

Everyone is different but my friend who’s a dating coach said by the end of 2 months (or before for some) most men already have their impression of you and an idea of what their feelings are for you. They either want a relationship and see that potential with you, or they don’t. My boyfriend asked me for a relationship almost 2 months in. Any guy that it’s taking months to put a title on something may not want one with you at all, and just wants girlfriend perks without commitment.
