I'm entering the dating scene after a long break and I was wondering which one of these options seem more likely to find a partner.

1. Go on dating apps.

2. Go to conventions where you can find people with similar interests.

Online dating is an option because it's right at your fingertips, but for guys it's not the best. At the moment the ratio is 9:1 with guys in the surplus so their inundated with options, and because it's based purely on good pictures and a catchy bio, if yours is average, your matches won't be high. Not to mention the algorithm.

Conventions. 100%. But you also gotta be (or at least, fake) confident when talking to real women. They're like sharks; they smell any fear or doubt within you and it's all over!

After being catfished, online is no longer an option, scammers have ruined online dating. Its either in person or not at all for me.
