I too do not like that method. I get a sense we are like-hearted. The only way for me is to sit down quietly with no device and investigate together. He needs to share much in the front end and you too little by little as he reveals. Private investigator quizzes would be counterproductive

Well he doesn't want a poly relationship he he just tried to hurt me bc he thought I was cheating. He has major trust issues I told him to go to therapy and work on himself and imma work on myself. I told him we need a break. That was yesterday today be both agreed to not talk to anyone else while we're taya break. Later he said we didn't really break up bc we are still committed to each other. So if it's not much of a break. But I hope he knows it's not gonna be like before until I see improvement

It doesn't necessarily mean he's interested in that, he's interested in hearing your thoughts.

There's no harm in having discussions about sexualities other than yours. Isn't having deep and philosophical conversation a fun thing? I've always enjoyed that, whether with a partner or with a friend.

You can be very firm with him that you are strictly monogamous and you don't want a polyamorous relationship at all.

Keep in mind people's sexuality is fluid and may change over their lifetime. Someone straight may discover later in life that they're bisexual or gay, and someone cis might later discover they're genderfluid or non-binary. Or even trans.

Life is change. Get used to it.

The problem is that he brought it up right after our conversation about probably we were having and what we need to work on. It wasn't just out of curiosity. I told him my ex wanted an open relationship and I broke up with him bc monogamy wasn't his ideal relationship.

Yeah, if his reaction is to try to hurt you instead of communicate like an adult, I'm gonna say breaking up is a good move.

He isn't gonna get better without putting in a lot of effort to grow himself into a respectable human.
