Last year I (27) met a guy (29) on online dating. We met IRL after a few weeks of messaging online, only as 2 people meeting for the first time - not a date.
Over the year we've become good friends, seeing him once a week but I've noticed over the last few months it became 3-4 times a week. He would bring up every now and again he's not been on dating sites since he met me. But in the last 2 weeks his messages are more... intense? not in a flirtatious or sexual way.
He tells me he enjoys spending time with me, that he feels comfortable around me and talk to me about anything. He's started asking me to ring him if we have plans and he overslept (he works nights) as well as telling me if I need to talk to him I can always ring him.
In the year I've known him, he's never given me this much attention it's like I'm starting to see a different side to him. A more vulnerable side... is this just a guy being friendly or is he wanting something more?
