Is he interested or is he just being friendly?

The church I attend I noticed this police officer was quite observant when I walked by. It’s been a couple months I’ve seen him or longer because I haven’t paid attention to him until one day I believed he said ‘Hi’ to me. I didn’t put any thought to his gestures and behavior.

Last Sunday, I was attending church and I stopped to greet someone he was standing next to showing something on his phone. I noticed he was observing me and as I slowly walked away he mentions: “I always see her and noticed her but she always has a mask on I never get to see her face.” He goes onto say can he see my face. I laughed at his comment and simply pointed to my face and said, “This right here is a mystery.”

Church service is over and he’s upfront with another cop watching the front. I said ‘Have a good week’ and I didn’t think he recognized it was me until I walked passed and he made the same comment. I turned around and gave him the same response. A few seconds later he asked what was my name and I briefly spoke with the other cop until I decided it was time to dismiss myself.
