Yes, and some men will go their entire lives without ever being in a relationship, even in their 60s and older. Happens a lot to men in the Autistic community. I’ve been a little lucky in having a couple in person and online flings, but they never went beyond talking.

I have only known the guy for about 4 years and I don't know much about his story before then. I know he hasn't had any serious relationships during that time and he hasn't mentioned anything to me anyway about marriage/divorce or any long term committed relationships before then. I get the impression he's just one of those guys who is cynical about marriage and relationships and gets all his needs met without them.
