and there could be a few reasons for it

maybe there was a disagreement so you're both currently not in good terms, or maybe she is really upset with your or about you, so you rather give her space and time both, or maybe you are going through a lot of stuff personally... so you do not have the right mood or don't have the energy to get yourself and approach her

stuff like that could prevent you from engaging with someone you have some feelings for, or even strong feelings for

Define "feelings". I can be attracted to a woman and not talk to her yeah. That's a lot of women actually. But I don't get real feelings unless I think she's attracted to me to.
