Clingy relationship?

the guy im talking to is way too persistent and very clingy when we aren't together yet and tries to rush a relationship.. Is this a red flag?

Depends, if he is from a different background he might have a reason for asking you that. Marriage roots are stronger in some cultures and countries, and people rush in relationships. If marriage roots are no where closer, People don’t even think of it. Everything would be causal for a while.


American culture is different, they don’t believe in first sight love. It’s how the culture here. In some cases, Americans date for years and years then split up. In some countries people get married in less than a month.


He could be good, he could be bad. You have to find out his background as deeply as you can, if you like him, learn about him and see where he is coming from (I mean the roots of his personality/behaviour). Or let him go if it’s not something you want.
