What is a relationship like when BOTH people are CLINGY?

Usually only one in the relationship is clingy... but what if both partners are clingy? thats that relationship like?

clingy is a euphemism for i feel like you want me more than i want you, or i dont really want a relationship im just in it for sex, attention, title etc. and your genuine feelings ann me. i want to feel superior so im with an affectionate person i can reject all the time and feel powerful. clingy is not a genuine word.

clingy on its own is meaningless., its relative and derogatory used by people who should not be in the relationship they are in. its a word used by people who dont want to be accountable for ''their' actions.

like if a person feels like they are with a clingy person WHY are they there unless they want it. or how did it get to that point, where was the discussion before things got bad if it bothers them so much. clingy s really a bullshit term used by bullshitters in most cases, in my opinion.

two 'clingy' people just are equally into each other more than people around them, which is as it should be,.

if you're going to use the word clingy you need to define it because it has no concrete meaning., one persons clingy is another affectionate or responsible or committed, or energetic, or virile, or aware etc.

I know a couple like that. They're 18 and 16 and they're already planning their wedding and where they want to live. They both didged their friends completely and only spend time with eachother. I think if they ever break up they have literally no one to go to since their friends are really pissed.

Sounds kinds creepy like there would r boundary issues and the two of you with be a combined obnoxious force who could only tolerate each other. Clingy by definition is when someone doesn't know when to back off and stop smothering someone. It doesn't mean warm and cuddly.

Sometimes I struggle with the word clingy. I mean, do you mean like to talk and see each other often every day? BC in that case, I'm clingy! And I like her to be that form of clingy in a relationship too.
I mean why date if you don't talk often, concerned how each other are doing, see each other each day (if possible of course). That would be a lonely relationship.

It's kind of difficult, I wouldn't say we're clingy because we're respectful of each others space, however we do want to be with each other all the time and it's exhausting because we know we have other obligations and it's frustrating.

I was in a relationship like this, you'd think it would be the best but it really isn't. It just leads to unneccisary arguments because you're both so invested in each other and don't want any time apart. I wouldn't recommend it.
