How should I go about this?

Today is the first day of no contact with my ex boyfriend he hasn’t text me or call me and I’m starting to wonder and hope that he comes back

I think I more so want to show him that I’m here for him and want to help him but he says he didn’t want my help because he can’t trust me or anybody

Never let a man tell you he doesn’t want you more than once. When I say this, I’m not talking about only his words, but his actions too. Looking at what you just said along with your comment to the other person, I see a woman fighting hard to hang onto something when she should really let it go. His kids aren’t going anywhere, neither are the hardships that are coming to him as a parent. When he’s saying he doesn’t trust you, doesn’t want your help and can’t be a proper boyfriend, I don't know what makes you as a women just sidesweep those rejections and say “I still want to be here and support you”. I think maybe you don’t see your worth and value, otherwise you would never in a million years cling to that situation. No matter how much you love a guy you’ve got to love yourself more so you can recognize toxic situations and leave them alone.

I'm curious why you guys broke up as well as what you're hoping to gain from staying in contact?

We broke up because he has a lot going on with court for his kids. He invited me to stay 2 nights with him not to long ago and just the other day i went over there for a couple hours. We do talk everyday from sun up to sun down. Yesterday he told me he didn’t want to talk much because of the court situation so today I have not contacted him
