I rather know that he's not a complete idiot or can't handle finances at any level but it wouldn't bother me if the guy didn't work or made less than me. It depends more on whatever roles we agree with; I would place a higher importance on his money if he wanted to be the sole breadwinner or just be the one providing financially.

I'm not responsible for their life choices, and I'm not going to be financially/ economically dependent on anyone, in a relationship. It's one step ahead of prostitution lol

I got married and everything was 90/10 wife worked part time. Eventually got full time but I was fine with it.

She was telling me her coworker is getting into fights with her boyfriend because he wants everything 50/50 but he makes more. I can understand the guy because if they split up its 50/50 regardless who paid what.

For a woman, no. Women do not date broke men. Maybe in her 20s, she will have sex with a cute guy who works at McDonald's. But when she hits 30, she will get tired of not having enough money and give him hell. She will get sick of his lack of money and leave.
