I was flirting with a coworker and messaging, I thought he was single, because he was also flirting and messaging me, turns out he wasn’t, his wife must of gone through his phone and messaged me, threatening she knew were I worked, she was calling me names and telling me to back off, I told her I didn’t know he was married and she didn’t believe me.

Fast forward a week later, he told one of our close friends what had happened, and asked where I was to come talk to me and apologise to me. I don’t know if I should trust him, or what he will even say?
Should I record it just in case?

On a side note, unless the guy was getting sexual with his conversations, is it possible he was being platonic rather than flirting?
