As we were talking today he told me how he’s been missing me. We text everyday but this week we both have been going through it mentally so haven’t talked as much as usual. As we were talking today he told me he can tell what kind of person I am and that I have a good soul. He then told me he has really strong feelings for me. Could he be falling in love with me?

I would not put much stock into the statement other than he's ready to pick up the pace. So not sure if you've ever met in person or not... but he intentionally saif strong feelings, not love. So that could mean a lot of things, so don't read too much into it.
