I've been talking to a guy for a couple of months as friends. We've been supporting each other through difficult times, and he's dealing with heartache from someone else. I do like him more than a friend but have never told him due to the things he's going through and I don't wanna put more pressure on him etc. We've both told each other we find each other attractive and when we met a couple of weeks ago we ended up sleeping together.

Since then we've been closer, a lot of love heart emojis and sweet things being said to one another (no confession of feelings though) and a lot of sex talk.

We're both going on dates and I have 1 tonight after having a break. He asked if I was going out on date or with friends. I said its a date, to which he replied "oh exciting, hope it goes well. Just as a side note I'm still gonna be your friend if you find someone you wanna be with ok? 😘 so let's keep being open/honest about this stuff ok? (Sorry if that's a bit intense)"

Does this sound like he's caught feelings?

It's hard to define his message, definitely there is something from his side, why? Because if he only wanted one night stand with you after sleeping together he would "run away". Also keep in mind that you two are honest with some opinions about each other, so his message could be just "facade" of his true feelings and opinion about you going out with other guy.

You're right. I would like to have the conversation of where his heads at however being 3hrs away from each other just seems that its a conversation that won't lead to anything beneficial. There's also a fear on my side that I'm thinking it's more than what it actually is because I know how heart broken he was/is over this previous woman and it could ruin whatever it is that we have going on here. Not really sure how to approach the subject but we have made plans to see each other again in a couple of weeks so I guess I'll see if anything comes up then. Thank you so much for your input
