I’ve been talking to a guy for the past week. The conversation has been really good, the best conversation I’ve had from a dating app in a long time. The conversation flows and it’s easy to talk to him. We have arranged a date. However, it changed suddenly yesterday. He started talking to me like a friend or very disinterested. I wouldn’t be bothered if he was busy or something. But he wasn’t busy and it came across like a sudden change in personality more than anything. I just got a very bad vibe something was off so I asked if he wanted to stop talking.
He said he doesn’t play games and would say if he wasn’t interested. But then reverted back to the awkward conversation. Today I asked him if he was back in town as he mentioned last week he was away until today with work. He then snapped and said “jeez your memory is bad” and I reminded him that he said about going away. He then said “sorry my bad” and that’s been the conversation all day. I did say something but he hasn’t said a word since. Again, I have a gut feeling that something is off. Does this sound like a red flag? My last relationship was extremely toxic and it’s how my ex started showing early signs of his true nature
