Actually none of that. My parents are rather traditional and intellectual in mind with that I mean the two advices they gave me is dating can be marathon to find the right girl. First find a girl you can be friends to get comfortable being around alone with a woman and with time you´ll realise if you wanna get deeper and date or if you want to cool down things and break up. My parents also reminded me that girls are humans, too, they migh act weird from time to time but they will tell you why if they are the right partner for you.
My friends gave me the advice to not aim and not have sex until I´m in a committed relationship since sex can turn anything messy and make a break up harder than it could be. So I stick with that.
My parents added that I should wait for sex until marriage to be on the safe side with it hence so I can really sure that she´s not trying to do me bad having sex with me.
The only "advice" I ever got from dad was not to get involved with a black girl. So far, I haven't but, NOT by choice! But I DID get involved with an Indian girl that was so dark even her own parents used to make fun of her for being darker than black people but, dad got on great, with her!
My dad stayed away from talking to me about boy or dating issues. All he'd assure me of is that if anybody breaks my heart, he'd break their bones. <3 Lol. :D
My mom's the nosy one. I tried to stay away from her because she always asks (yes, present tense, because she still does) for details. However, she's repeatedly tell me to "dress your best, dear!" :)

My father explained to me that looks are not that important in a girl, personality, intelligence, common interests are more important. He used the crude, but true, analogy.

My mother never gave me any advice on dating, other than implying if I was gay, she'd disown me. If I DID have a father, and he was smart, the best advice I could be given on women is "Never put the pussy on a pedestal. She's just a person. She sh*ts and farts and lies and cheats like everyone else." A lot of other men could certainly use that advice nowadays, as well.
My late mom always said, she just wanted me to meet a girl who treated me good and did not hurt me.

Honestly i never really asked for it. So i never got it. My mom just always complains about me being single. According to her, i should apparently rather be dating a fat older single mom than being single.
