Because they see that as an alpha male most eligible bachelor and they fantasize about “winning” the contest and not only getting the hot guy but making tons of other girls jealous since they so special.

For some women the gratification of making other women jealous is more satisfying then landing a decent man to begin with. This why they are often more attracted to taken men.

I guess some guys fantasize (usually younger) about being in demand manwhores. So thats a man mental quirk. But not all guys are like that.

But why do so many (but not all) women have this feminine “compete and jealousy” mental quirk?
