Do you let people love you for you?

So many people act a certian way to get a certian person to date them. Don't they realize that the person who agreed to date them doesn't actually love them? They love the act, not the real person. Have you ever tried to see who would love you for you. Drop the act, be you, let people love you as you are. That's how a strong relationship lasts. That's why my girlfriend and I have been going strong for 4 years.

I don't put an act on when I meet someone whether it be a girl I'm interested in or a a new potential friend. It's easier this way in my opinion. I'm not a good actor.
