She touched me a lot when we went out as friends, I haven't asked her out but she still wants to be around me?

We went out on night as friends and she touched my nose several times, flicking it a lot, my hair, my beard, my arm, bumped our hips together. I didn't do much and I still haven't asked her out but she still seems to want to be around me.

I see her every day outside of my workplace and she almost always initiates a conversation with me, sometimes flirty sometimes we're just talking. At times she may touch my arm or get closer to me but I still haven't done much

We made a plan for after-work lunch last week which she cancelled but this week she asked me to talk a walk with her. I still didn't touch her, but we continue to make a great connection, and she still wants to be around me even though I'm not making a move, that's gotta be something no? I did tell her we should do this again which she agreed

I certainly don't want her to think that. I'm always there for her so I hope she knows I care about her a lot, but just have lacked the courage to break that touch and friend barrier :(

Confused. Very much. She initiates, asks me to go out with her, touches me, then gets cold, cancels plans, ignores me on some days, talks a lot on others, I give her space, she gets hot, invites me to a quick hangout, continues talking to me normally. I know I'm not doing myself nor her any favors with no touching but I'm just unsure about what she wants from me

Maybe she's scared too. She's given you very a strong signal but you haven't acted on it, so she likely believes you aren't really interested. Just ask her out. Then you'll know.

Maybe, and the breakup thing is hard to navigate through like when is she ready?

Last week she invited me twice to walk her dogs and we hung out at her apartment a bit before work. She made the cutest noises when there was complete silence in order to break it. Even tried very hard to find a book I mentioned I liked and that she thinks she has. I told her we should do it again soon and she agreed. But now her family is in town so who knows when that can happen or if she even has time to go out

But I'll ask her out, like you said it's the only way to know. Especially since we seem to suck at communicating
