People ghost for various reasons. But I believe the main one is because you mean nothing to them, so they don't believe they owe you an explanation why they no longer want contact with you.

Some people just talk to you to pass the time. When someone else comes along or their life changes they just cut you off. I think it shows they're very immature minded

I was seeing a guy who suddenly ghosted me. It was very painful , because I liked him and thought we had a connection. Months later he came back into my life. The reason he have for ghosting me was that he hadn't moved on from his ex. I just cut ties with him though.
