Hi! so yesterday i finally talked to him about it but it was over text. i told him how i felt about the relationship now but all he could say was “i don’t understand”. when i asked if he still loved me, he just said “yes”. i remember once i asked him the same thing too. he would chase after me and ask whats wrong, but now, its completely different. he also removed our matching pfp, saying that his dad found it childish. he also turned off hjs read receipts. however the weird thing is he said goodnight babe and love you. its probably to make things seem less bad. i dont know. what should i do? should i ask him again? i would love to have help from you, thank you

If he says he doesn't understand, ask him what he heard, promising to fill in the gaps he may have missed. If he doesn't understand a math problem, you won't start at the beginning and teach him numbers. Let him put forth some effort to understand before passing it back to you to do all the work.
