First comes attraction. For guys this is usually looks but it can be voice, actions, personality (in rare cases), ore other things we find appealing. For women it’s usually different aspects of looks like height and muscles or it can be money, confidence, personality (again rare)… whatever your attracted to is what makes you look at them different then others.


From there longevity depends on chemistry. Making them look at you is not the same as keeping them looking at you. That’s about your personality and compatibility over all else. Being an amazing person but ugly is infinitely harder to manage in dating today then being beautiful and a horrible person.

Physical appearance matters to 99% of people. I don't care that much about appearance, but I do at least want a feminine looking, clean and hygienic, all woman.

So no. Love is NOT blind. Men usually "love" for looks/sex, and women "love" for looks/sex, height, assets, physical protection, etc.

I am not totally blind to appearance but I could never love or commit to somebody for their looks alone because I don’t value appearance enough to date someone for their looks but I might be quicker to study and learn about them if I like their looks. Just like your more willing to visit an open house if they serve free donuts, you won’t buy the house for the donut but you will give them a chance faster and explore your options and assets more with them.

But yep not gonna lie the ammount of filters women have is more compared to guys like the girl would be a 3 and she would either over rate her or reject a guy just bcz he s short its true but unfair. Same is with guys i guess we would reject the best lady if she doesn't look that part i guess. Sure body can be changed but some guys just want pretty face. I guess its both genders that are unfair.

Blind love can be real, but there are a lot of people who are in love with the idea of falling in love and often let their emotions get the best of them.
