Are people getting flaky again with dating?

After they lifted the covid bans I had such good luck with landing dates and such and now it's like everyone is back to the game playing and ghosting etc.

There is no “again”, people have always been flakey with dating, thats why even with all the luck you had post-covid none of those women stuck. I think the only difference is that with Covid maybe you had their attention for a bit longer out of boredom/loneliness and a necessity to connect with someone because of the isolation. But they were going to leave regardless.

I think they just happened to be single because they couldn't go out to clubs and they got bored of whatever boyfriend they had during the covid days because they couldn't do anything.

It's always baffled me some people stay together forever and others can't find anyone to stick.

Yep, I definitely agree. I actually have two friends that met men during covid times and had the best relationship but as soon as those restrictions lifted those guys were back to their old ways. It’s interesting for sure how some people stay together forever while some people have hard times settling down but I really think different things come into play, like location, timing, etc. I also think online dating has really shaken the core or what genuine connections are all about.

Cheating and playing the field yes, amongst many other things. Personally I feel like both girls and guys have too many options online. Because there’s so many options and so many apps, that route of dating just gives people the ability to be so much more picky and specific with impossible standards. Back when I dated online I definitely had my share of men going ghost for dumb reasons if any at all. It got so exhausting.

Yeah they all lead me on then ghost me. I don't ever get past date 3. Have no problem landing a date though. Im pretty much fed up with it now because going to a restuarant is like $50-$70 where before it was like $32 only to have them say they aren't interested. I think I'm going to start going to a dance hall/club instead.

It is the 4th quarter and everyone flakes out. Most people are settling in for holidays or don’t have the energy for dating. Don’t worry…November 10- January 7 is single and lonely Holiday season.
