Meeting my boyfriend's family for the first time this upcoming Friday. Any advice appreciated?

My Boyfriend has asked that I meet his family this Friday before his hockey game.
We met in June via hinge and made things official towards the end of August.

Things have been going well so far, so I have attended 2 of his hockey games before, and he suggested I attend this upcoming Friday's game as he will be playing against his brother, and his parents will be there, alongside his brother.

So I agreed, and of course, this is nerve-wracking, as earlier this month, he took me to a work gala and introduced me to his colleagues.

So any advice on meeting parents and siblings for the first time?

Dress conservatively which means no V neck and arms covered. It demonstrate a knowledge of respect and no Mother-In-Law wants a Ho-looking daughter-in-law.

Speak in short, clear, and succinct sentences. Listen more and speak less and do not be afraid to say "I have no opinion, have not decided, and/or don't know"... GOOD LUCK :-)

Just be friendly and polite and be yourself as much as possible. Parents can usually tell when you aren't being yourself. If you find you have a great rapport with his family, great, but even if you don't, just relax and enjoy it as much as you can. Don't assume they'll be judgmental- they deserve a fair chance just like you do.

Be honest in whatever you say, however try not to say to much don't be an open book. You can probably learn a lot about your man by meeting his family. Good luck
