Can sleeping with a guy too soon really put him off?

Anonymous

For reference, we've been speaking online for a good few weeks (met on Tinder), last Sunday we had our first date which went perfectly well, we laughed all day, and he text me as soon as he got home to let me know he had a great day. We kissed but nothing else. We both made it clear we wasn't looking for something casual, and was interested in getting to know eachother on a deeper level. He then suggested we meet again, this time Friday just gone. Before this we was texting all day everyday, I could tell he was super into me, he also told me he liked me. Friday, we went for a meal, had a great time and had a couple of drinks. Neither of us wanted the night to end so we ended up heading back to his place, for more drinks and chat.

We had flirted and kissed before this, but as the night went on one thing lead to another and we slept together. It felt right in that moment, but now I am seriously regretting it. He didn't text when he got home yesterday, he hasn't been as chatty or his normal self around me. We still talk but at present he hasn't replied to me in 8 hours, he said he was busy and would be home about 6, its now 3 hours later. He always makes the effort to reply to me, so this isn't a regular thing for him to do. I obviously have just given him space and will let him reply rather than me double texting. Am I way overthinking this? Have I blown my chances with this exceptional guy who I really liked? Is he playing hard to get? Is there anyway I can get him to see me in the same light as he did before we had sex. Any advice is welcome... thank you in advance.
