Guy I started dating purposefully doesn’t want to sleep with me right away. Is this a good thing? Is he not attracted to me?

I met this guy online and we’ve been talking a month every day all day. We really clicked and developed feelings within this time. We shared pics, phone calls. We sexted some. We both don’t do this often. It was genuine chemistry. One minute he’d say how much he wants to have sex all day but the next that I’m too beautiful and classy to treat that way.

We had our first date and talked about having sex beforehand. I was really shy on the date and he noticed this. We ended up not having sex but talking and cuddling for 8 hours. He said he doesn’t want to rush this and doesn’t want me to be treated like the men treated me in my past (men try to sleep with me right away, some men just wanting sex). He said he wanted to treat me right and for me to see my value. He asked me when I first had sex with my ex when we met. I said on the second date and so he’s like well then we shouldn’t have sex until at least the third. Is this a good thing? It made me wonder if he isn’t as attracted to me/I feel less wanted.

I'm sorry but this is the kind of thing that drives men crazy about women. All the time we hear the same old complaints ---- "he just wants to use me for sex!" and it's variants.
But here you've come across a guy who is going out of his way not to treat you like a sex toy and show you he respects you and for some reason you have to worry about whether he is attracted to you.

He doesn't want to get attached before he knows you better. It's not good or bad, unless it goes on too long. A few weeks maybe ok. Three months and you may not be compatible. If I were dating a woman for more than eight weeks and we hadn't yet I would be wondering if she were just not very sexual.

I think he's trying to hard to be a gent to get you to give it up for sure. So he's doing so but acting as if he's not expecting it sooner so that he can gain your trust and get it for sure. Not necessarily a bad thing but definitely a gameplay tactic
