Can you be friends with someone that u had a connection with?

Would u be able to still be friends or stay in contact with someone u liked and had a beautiful connection with? I don't know if I can because my feelings are still involved and to just be platonic and nothing more will be hard for me considering we were building up to a relationship.

I would not stay in touch if it made a guy I was with upset but if he needed help from me he would get it - Friends are like family, they cannot be bought or sold and are not replaceable.

I feel you but at the same time isn’t it weird to be friends with someone u once shared a deep connection with and has feelings involved? It’s hard to just put boundaries and keep that mindset to just stay as friends rather than lovers

Not really. There’s people that I have dated where we aren’t friends but we aren’t on bad terms and that’s because I’ve came to terms that their lifestyles are not datable.

Yes if you really want to keep them as someone you care about in your life. That happened to me, nothing more happened and were still good friends, the bond is still there but its obviously a friend typ of bond instead of romantic. But it's always better to keep good people in your life than not.
