I take them out the first couple of times for coffee and the like. If she is still interested, then she still might be but it is less likely. Now if you're pulling $150K or more with light expenses and she's still a student, you should not expect her to be able to treat you to dinner at Pelican Hill, but if she is always trying to coax you into treating her to outrageously priced things then it's time to bail. Also, be aware if she is appreciative of what you do spring for.
