I'd say it's about the saint, but I don't think most people agree with me. I'm also pretty much the only person I've encountered who objects to the lack of Biblically accurate angels in the cards and decorations; "cupid", to my mind, doesn't suggest love in the same way that "giant flame-winged ball of feathers and eyes" does.

... maybe I should start buying Valentine cards from heavy metal stores. They'd have better artwork, at least.

Neither. It's about corporate greed to make a lot of money selling flowers, candies and cards on an otherwise normal day.

Definitely the girl. We make such a big deal outta it and have high expectations and I don't think guys really care. Just more pressure on them to make it a perfect day
