I care about Valentine's Day
Most Helpful Opinions
I seem to be the minority that really enjoys it. But my wife and I celebrate it in a very small way with just little snacks and having a little romantic time together. We don't turn into some extravagant shopping Holiday. We also celebrate it a bit differently here in Japan. The one Holiday I find a bit stressful is Christmas with all the shopping and gifting, although I love the Christmas spirit side of it.
Pretty sure guys have an expectation that their girl dresses up and has sex with them.
Everytime you see a 'simp' holding flowers, you're probably assuming that he's a chap who's gonna get laid.
I think they do. My current partner was the one who suggested us doing something special for Valentine's day I wasn't going to say anything.

Some guys do, but most guys I have seen on this site seem to not care about it or hate it.
So I’m late to the show but I’d still like to answer. No it’s not that big of a deal to me, from what I read most men as well. The only reason we care about it is because you’re pretty much forced into caring about it by your girl as well as society. These businesses play on women’s feelings, they make the man feel guilty cause she’s expecting something so he has to get her something or look like an asshole to her, to her friends, to society. It’s a game. These business use women to get to men. Why do you think women get into clubs for free? Cause the business knows if there’s hot women around men will follow, purchasing them drinks like an idiot when they more than likely aren’t goi lng to get lucky. Simping as they say.
Neither me nor my girlfriend think much of Valentines Day, since it's a western holiday and neither of us where raised in a western culture or environment. We do, however, celebrate 七夕节, or the Qixi Festival, celebrated on July 7th of the lunar calendar. The Qixi Festival is basically the Chinese equivalent to Valentines Day.
However, I must admit that I still use the western Valentines Day as an excuse to buy her flowers and chocolates/candies...
Lmao.No. I don't think I ever even considered Valentine's Day as a special day. It was always a normal day for me from when I can remember. I mean, if you really want to happy a good time with your partner, you can have it any time. So why this day. Was my question.
Its for avarage people with avarage iq with avarage relationships living their avarage lives. That what i think its for. Followers not leaders. Leaders make new celebration days followers just follow and celebrate them thinking its important cus someone else did it before them.
Honestly if you have someone special you can do a little something something but Valentine's Day is overrated. It's like why do you only have to do something on a holiday or Valentine's Day or something of that nature it should be whenever you feel it. You're 18 do you have someone special that's going to give you an amazing Valentine's
Nope, they don't really love and all they crave is sex, validation, attention, variety and companionship which is self serving.
They hate to show love because they don't feel it. They're interested in using women physically and emotionally. They can't be spending their money on every new girl they date.
Most of them bitch about how VD is pathetic and they don't care, etc.NO , very few males care about it , its just commercial bullshit , it doesn't mean anything - Its past here , its 15 th. Never overthink these kind of days , its just a marketing tool.
That’s not a big deal especially with these jacked up Joe Biden prices you should’ve seen how much money a little tiny meal cost at the sports bar yesterday watching the Super Bowl absolutely ridiculous
They care about lingerie lol
It’s a women holiday really. I don’t see why I have to proof to a girl that I love her unconditionally on this day.
As far and a fair as I can be, Valentine’s Day is everyday.I don't care about holidays, but being reminded I'm single isn't exactly fun.
No point in celebrating it if I was taken either, because why limit that sort of behavior to a single day?No. But we know that most women think it's a big deal (when it suits them).
Vavoline Day, did you say ⁉️

🏁This one doesn't. If I had a current girl I guess I would try to do something nice for it, but not having one on VD doesn't bother me more than it would on any other day.
Some do but I don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day because I’m single
i forget it exists. thats how much i dont care about it.
Nope, silly day created by stores to sell over price chocolates, flowers etc. And tries to make single people feel shitty.
It's BS holiday created by candy and greeting card companies to boost sales after the Christmas "Slump"
When you are young and dating then it's important but when your older and married with grown up children then not so much.
