No, in my opinion it doesn't matter with the shade of skin they have. Your physical look definitely helps with first impression attraction because that's what you see right away. But once they open their mouth and start talking, that can absolutely kill someone's looks. In my opinion, You can't be a terrible person and still be hot. It's easy to do in movies or magazines but real life it's different.
The shade of your skin doesn't decide if your truly attractive. It shouldn't really matter on the physical either. I think they have a name for that... Oh, yeah, racist. That's the word.

I think it's funny when people, especially white people, want to appear so not racist they don't think before they speak and end up doing more damage than not. I am a white male so I'm not talking shit in the white race but the growing amount of white folks who want to say anything to make it appear they are not racist at all. Typically lighter skin and darker skin would be two separate races, would it not? And before you try and say something silly like "well lighter skin and tan skin could be the same. How about that, you bigot" I will simply say you're right. I must be wrong... Or not. I won't say that at all. I would point out to you that it's ok to see race or think of race. You would be blind not to see it. That doesn't make you a racist. It means you have eyes. That doesn't mean be racist. Nothing I said was but I can still see race.

To me it does. I've a thing for light skinned red heads with blue or green eyes. Brunettes too and natural blondes.

I'm mostly attracted to women with Caucasian features, some Orientals. There's only a few black women I ever been attracted to, one was and African woman, her skin was so black it almost blue.
