Why are more and more men in their 40s friend zoning women their age?

More and more videos are coming out of women in their 40s talking about how guys friend zone them. This manifest in guys no longer wanting to pursue dating them to guys just outright ghosting them after 1 to 2 dates.

Why are we seeing this dating shift happen?

I've never met a 40 year old single woman with no kids, who doesn't want kids, who likes hard video games, and is a talented artist, and thinks religion is stupid, and doesn't drink alcohol, or smoke, or do drugs, etc. And likes anime/cartoons, and cosplay, and science, and sci-fi, and fantasy, and creepy crawly animals, and dinosaurs, an blah blah blah too long to list but you get the idea.

I've met 40 year old women who look model level hot, but thats not enough, I don't want a feminist or a traditionalist, I want a hot geeky nerdy artistic tomboy woman who looks very feminine and is ok with her mid 30s husband looking like a 15 year old boy (according to most people, apparantly thats what I look like, whether I agree with it or not is another story entirely)

To the person who disagrees with me, I challenge you to find a woman in her 40s who fits the bill on what I said. Go on, prove me wrong, I'd be delighted.

A lot of these guys are not thinking about having children, it's simple a vanity thing. They want a woman to never age while they can age, grow old, and become sickly. They care to much about the outter appearences instead of wanting someone who they will grow with as they get older.

I don't want kids, my issue is that women born in the 80s or 70s or any time before that, hate my hobbies and interests, and so I can't relate to them.

When I'm in my 50s though, I will relate to some of the women that, at that point in time, will be in their 40s. So its not the age, it's the generation.

Because there are more and more younger women from which to choose and older guys have the means to accommodate the young girls "desires".

Same reason why the same women friend zoned guys their age when they were in their 20s. Because they are not attracted to them.

Tbh, now that I'm in my 20s, I do date girls my age but when I'm in my 40 I would date girls that are as young as I can get. Makes sense.
