"Too old" is vague. When a 29 age man, marries a 25 age lady, then 20 years later, they can continue the relationship, so 45 is not "too old for a relationship ".

The different is for dating and girl friend. Dating to meet her for the first time, want a family and after age 35 pregnancy is risky and unlikely.

About girl *frend, When a woman is child bearing age, then naturally her looks are smooth skin and attractive, as nature planned therefore, no surprise after age 35, the body stops "bothering" to attract men. Her looks fade so due to looks, some say she "looks too old".

In my case, i recall my mom, when i was a kid she was 40, so due to this, no way will i date age 40 because i don't want a mom associated in a girl friend. They have a view of women that isn't very uplifting or could be described as less than rosy of the traits of a lot of modern women who have made it into the rat race and now see themselves as better than men so don't value those men and see only men further ahead in the rat race as valid.
